ConnectID is a cloud-based web service API which readily integrates into many existing programs and applications. It operates securely within our Tier 3 UK based Data Centre (alongside ProtectID by Engeneum) and supports many device types. It allows a user to take images of documents such as driver’s licenses and passports, and then securely transmit images to the AssureTec cloud infrastructure.
ConnectID supports a range of image capture devices including qualified document scanners and for certain applications (Verification and Data Capture) web- and mobile-based cameras. The devices include, but are not limited to:
• Full page passport scanners
• Driver’s license and identification card scanners
• Portable devices like mobile phones and IPads
• Web Cameras
• Other consumer scanner products that are capable of scanning identity documents
To ensure correct operation and to minimise both false negatives and positives, TIO will require to review all hardware devices to be used in conjunction with this system.

• Install ConnectID API system to 1 location.
• Systems to be of minimum specification
• Internet Access required
• Train client users in use and output
• Referral to Document Experts included if required
